BookInterio ("we", "us") helps homeowners in Pune find and work with verified interior design firms. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, mobile number, locality, flat type, possession timeline, budget range, and anything you tell your advisor.
- Project details: floor plans, photos and measurements you share or we take during the consultation.
- Website data: pages visited, device and browser type, and how you arrived, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
Why we use it
- To call you back, arrange your consultation and match you with suitable firms.
- To manage your project, inspections, payments and warranty.
- To improve our website and services.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and for the legitimate uses permitted by law.
Who we share it with
- Interior firms: only the firm you choose receives your contact details, after you choose it. During matching, firms see your brief without your phone number.
- Service providers: hosting, CRM, telephony, WhatsApp messaging and payment providers who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Authorities: when required by law.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not buy homeowner data from builders or anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your enquiry or project is active and for the period your warranty and the law require afterwards, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent at any time, and nominate someone to exercise your rights. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. To exercise any right, contact our Grievance Officer.
Security
We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections, access controls and limited staff access. Enquiries you send through the website are stored in a password-protected database on our hosting server in a form that only authorised BookInterio staff can open. We do not store your IP address; we keep only a one-way code derived from it to block spam.
Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and to remember your preferences. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
